Lovin it!

Just Lovin life...getting ready for the mish... hanging with friends and fam. I am so excited to go, but I love the time I get to spend with everyone before I leave!

Matching and Birthdays.

This weekend was Emily's Birthday and we celebrated at Market Street... sooo good! Also M.K. and I made this awesome 14-layer cake for Bob Nilsen's birthday... I felt like it was pretty legit so I had to post a pic.

By the way Mary Kate and I have been really into matching lately... We love it. When we were little my mom couldn't have bribed us to match and now we can't get enough of it! We have the same swimsuits and a few of the same outfits... mainly just because we think it's funny to match and also because we are besties! One day we are thinking of running as the first co-governers for the state of Utah.. when that happens I feel like the matching will come in handy because then we will look more unified, not to mention powerful when we are wearing our matching red pant power suits!

I wish I could go buy a puppy right now instead of studying for finalzz

Little Princes

My book club just "finished" (I only got half way through... )The book the "Little Princes" about child trafficking in Nepal. It really is interesting and I really am going to finish it.. eventually. We went to the Himalayan Kitchen after to try some of the food we had read about in the book.. it was awesome.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

This was seriously the best night ever! Old Crow Medicine Show, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Mumford and Sons all are amazing at performing live... It was so great because they all seemed like such good friends, everyone playing with everybody else, and at the end all of the bands on stage together (like 50 people) singing this train is bound for glory... Did I mention the best part is that this was part of the Railroad Revival Tour, where they revived some old railroad cars and are taking them around the country and playing at various places the train stops. I can't stop talking about it, it is getting out of control, but they were all such amazing musicians and they put on such a great show I can't help thinking about it all the time!

It's so weird that tonight is my last DG meeting ever! I love my girls in crew 22... we have had such a good time in college.. I am going to miss it!

Spring IS here!

I love spring, it is the best because you appreciate every single drop of sunshine.. you can't wait to spend time outside, and you really appreciate the world around you!! It just reminds you to stop over analyzing everything and realize how simple life really is. Take it slow, soak it up, go spring skiing with your mom, or blading with your friends. I LOVE SPRING. the end.

Sk8 or D13

This summer one of my goals is to learn how to skate board... I am not asking to be a pro... I just want to be able to do an ollie... which is a lot harder than it looks. Especially because I didn't start out as a child skater.. but it is on my list of things to do, along with learning how to play the drums. The only problem is that I don't have a drum kit... but one day I will get one, because it is on my list and that means I have to accomplish it.

So get ready for summs... lets sk8. Who is with me??? Better yet... who is going to teach me?

Colonoscopy

This is all I have been able to eat for the last 14 hours (and by eat I mean drink)... and of course tonight my mom brings home dodo for my fam. even though I don't think I could stomach it... I want it soooo bad.

I haven't blogged for a while so I thought I would throw up some pics of what has been going on recently....

1) Great ski days... skiing is the only reason I am alright with the fact that it is still cold outside.

2) We went to St. George / Vegas for the weekend.. I probably took 5 pics and they are all awful except for this one because we are both throwing up my favorite hand sign... the middle finger peace sign.

3) My Birthday was sooooooo great! My friends threw me a surprise birthday party at Bryan Ave the weekend before my birthday... super good time! On my birthday my parents let me bring whoever I want to my house and my mom makes dinner for all of us, the best part about this was that my mom and Faith made me a 22 layer cake this year because it was my 22nd birthday. I loved it!

Tripple S B Holliday Extravaganza

Triple S B re united...

We went to dinner and of course we sat in the appropriate spots, Blondies vs. Brownies... we all know that blondes rule and brownies are..... ok.

After din we met up with the old high school crew and played wii dance. Sooo Hilarious, seriously everyone should play this game because it is like you are just busting out in choreographed dance... One day I will cheat on someone with choreography, and I will like it.

Such a great reunion and the best part is that we made the decision to go see all 50 states with all of our friends. We already have 5 checked off the list (Utah... duh, Idaho, Montana, California, and Arizona). This years trip is to Vegas so we can check off Nevada... Next year probably Seattle. I can't wait until we get into the butt crack of the nation aka the Midwest, that should be interesting, but fun because we will all be hanging together! I love all of these girls and can't wait until our next reunion!
